Effect short-term

•  It amplifies/ increases existing emotions this can be both positive and negative. Because of that the effects have a wide range

•  Effects can include relaxation, openness to contact, inner calm, fear, panic and disorientation 

• It can also lead to confusion and hallucinations

• Long term effects can be withdrawal from social life, apathy and development disorders, as well as depression

• For some people especially with ADHD Cannabis can have the opposite effect of what was mentioned, they can concentrate and focus better for some time but the long-term effects are usually the same

• it can lead to long term psychoses as well, especially if it is laced with other toxins

What are Amphetamines?

• Amphetamines include substances like Speed, Ecstasy, MDMA

• the effects are felt after around 30 min and can be active for several hours, it stays in the body for around 10-12 hours

• they are stimulants some are used to treat illnesses like ADHD, but it is often used as a stimulant to  be more awake, supress feelings of pain, hunger and thirst

•  delusions, collapse and sometimes hallucinations. After some time, the body experiences different symptoms like blurred vision, and teeth grinding 

• Taken for a long time it can lead to psychoses and circulatory diseases

• Those are similar to amphetamines the difference being that they work faster and much longer. Because of that the side effects can also be more severe

What are Benzos?

• These are usually prescription medicines used for pre-existing illnesses, but they are used in a harmful way as well

• this includes Lyrica, Valium,  Xanax

• The effects are relaxing, calming, sleep inducing, pain relieving, numbing

• To much at once can lead to effect of fatigue impaired balance, reduced motor control, delayed reactions and difficulty concentrating, forgetting things that last into the next day

• Long term effects can lead to personality changes, depression, restlessness, and confused

• Emotions are not felt as intensely anymore and people withdraw more and more

• It takes longer to develop a addiction for medicine but after constant use over weeks it can also happen

• A continued long use can also lead to further health problems

What are Opiates?

• Opiates fall in the category of downers; it works after around half a minute to 10 minutes and you experience the symptoms for up to 5 hours

• Opiates are for example heroin, morphine or fentanyl

• You can smoke it which would be the safest option, sniff it or inject it directly into the veins

• Injecting has big risks when used in an unclean environment it rises the danger of HIV or Hepatitis C

• Using Opiates people fell calm, dazed and euphoric, for many in the beginning it is the best feeling they ever had, often people fall asleep, lose their balance and are unfocused. Usually, a conversation in that state is impossible

• Coming out of the trip people feel restless and can feel quite depressive

What is cocaine

• Cocaine is a fast-working stimulant, it usually works immediately, but only for a few minutes to an hour, this depends on the way of consumption

• Short term effects might include euphoria, being mor energetic, talkative and mentally alert. It also may lead to hypersensitivity to sight, sound and touch.

• Some people use to become more focused, but generally it only gives only that feeling for it accomplishes usually the opposite

• The body reacts strongly to cocaine symptoms include disturbances in heart rhythm, which may lead to a heart attack, some experience headaches, seizures, strokes, abdominal pain and nausea
